Boiler Tune Up Checklist
- Inspect exchanger for leaks
- Inspect system for general problems
- Verify appropriate supply of combustion air to boiler system
- Inspect boiler circuits for presence of air in piping
- Check boiler pressure and add or remove pressure if needed
- Inspect expansion tanks for evidence of leaks or air infiltration
- Test operation of any and all safety devices, LWCO/secondary limit
- Check zone valves
- Pumps
- Cycle boiler from thermostat to see if it starts and stops (each zone)
- Clean burners
- Pilot assembly/sparker
- Venting
